Homebrew Predator types for Vampire 5e

I'm toying with one modification and a few original Predator types for VtM5e, having noticed a few holes. Additionally, expanding the known Predators from 17 types to 22 types means I can align them with the Major Arcana of the Tarot, meaning a player short on inspiration can do random draws until they find a suitable Predator for their character.

I'd love some feedback.

Modified: Blood Leech The name is kept but now applies to young kindred still lapping at their sire's wrist. The published version now has more in common with my Methuselah type further below. Specialty: Insight (hunger) OR Medicine (exsanguination) Discipline: Animalism OR Protean Advantage: Ingenue Flaw: Prey Exclusion (mortals) Gain 1 Humanity Special: the character will eventually have to switch Predator types without change to their starting Specialty or bonus Discipline. When converting, lose both Ingenue and the Prey Exclusion. Humanity is unchanged unless the new Predator type drops you a level.

Methuselah Preys on their fellow kindred. Specialty: Stealth (kindred) OR Etiquette (false security) Discipline: Celerity OR Blood Sorcery Additionally, when choosing clan Disciplines, set one to 2 and BOTH remaining Disciplines to 1 Lose 1 Humanity

Abraham Feeds during ritualistic sacrifice. Specialty: Craft (restraints) OR Occult (sacrifice) Discipline: Presence OR Blood Sorcery Merit: gain 3 dots to spend on Retainers Gain either set: Eat Food AND Organovore OR Luck of the Devil AND 3 dots of Mythic Flaws Lose 1 Humanity

Bender Denies their hunger and feeds when the Beast breaks free. Specialty: Occult (meditation) OR Brawl (take downs) Discipline: Celerity OR Potence Flaw: Obvious Predator Flaw: Weak Willed OR Risk Taker Gain 1 Humanity, not that you'll keep it. Special: the character will eventually have to switch Predator types without change to their starting Specialty or bonus Discipline. When converting, lose your Flaws from this type (unless the new type also bestows Obvious Predator). Humanity is unchanged unless the new Predator type drops you a level.

Rake Takes blood by force or submission. Specialty: Intimidation (compliance) OR Investigation (blackmail) Discipline: Celerity OR Presence Advantages: distribute 3 dots between Contacts, Influence, and Resources Lose 1 Humanity

Vigilante Prey upon the deserving. Specialty: Stealth (shadowing) OR Investigation (doxing) Discipline: Obfuscate OR Oblivion Flaw: Despised Gain 1 Humanity

Is there any vampire lore that ties specifically into the phases of the moon? Like I imagine vampire attacks would get more frequent when the moon wanes, because logically, wouldn't it make sense for vampires to be more powerful as less and less sunlight is reflecting off of the moon? Then once a month on a new moon they reach a peak of strength. Maybe something like new vampires can only be born on new moons because the potency of the curse is at its strongest with the lack of moonlight

A Runaway Maverick (technically) Day 1 of Drawtober

This is my Ravnos lad back as a ghoul! Back before he went by Beau, on the right is his ex/sire Theo. lore under the cut :]

Maverick, Ricky, whatever you may want to call him ran away from home in the spring of his senior year of high school, having met Theodore after a college tour, and being absolutely *smitten*! He then spent several years with his new lover, performing, traveling around the west of the US and acting as a bloodbag absolutely living his best life! Eventually he was embraced in a panic when he was drained by accident. Soon after, Theo left, taking much of their earnings and their van. I love both the idea of him ending up a thinblood and the option of him being a full Ravnos kindred so both versions exist in my brain? (this is all written with the 5th edition rules in mind) If full Ravnos, he would spend his days as a traveling musician, settling into feeding off his audience (albeit with several mistakes when he was new,, and abandoned by his sire). In this version, he hopes to try to reconnect with Theo, uncertain what he did wrong, angry but optimistic in a way (when hes not writing sad country break up songs). He understands in a way why Theo did what he did, he would have panicked too in that situation! Maybe it was okay! They can talk it out!

He wishes to make back up with his mother now that he is more successful, but is unsure how to explain his awful teen behavior to her (running away, asking her for money and promising to come home,, then disappearing again), never mind his current situation (being a vampire). In this he would go by Beau, cursed with the secondary clan bane, and well known enough by his lover's old nickname for him to adopt it as a stage-name. For the version of him that's a thinblood, I think hes far more vengeful. He wants to go back to his family, but is still cursed with the clan bane, feels useless to his sire as his blood is no longer desirable, and he is ANGRY. He feels lost and abandoned and had to beg his mother for money. He quickly realizes he could not return to his old life, he can't go back home, not if he wants to actually *live*. I think he would want Theo dead, he's conflicted but he's no longer bloodbound, and would not have nearly as many benefits of kindred life as a fullblooded vampire, he's not interested. He wants his life back.

I don't know much about vampire the masquerade (I played it occasionally with some friends, but it's not exactly my type of game since I prefer epic fantasy and tactical combat, but I can definitely understand why people like it) but some time ago I was hearing my friends talk about it and they were talking about disadvantages your character can take.

One of these disadvantages seems to be "hey, you know all the myths about vampires, like garlic, can't enter houses without being invited and can't cross rivers? Yeah, you have that". And now I'm imagining a vampire with this trying to explain to other vampires why he can't enter the house.

V1: "I wasn't invited"

V2: "Of course not, this is a heist!"

V1: "Yeah, but I can't enter"

V2: "tf are you talking about? The door is open!"

V1: "I mean, I'm physically incapable of entering the house"

V2: "Stop with the bullshit and get inside!" Grabs the vampire and throws him into the house

V1: Hits an invisible wall and falls on the ground

V2: Wtf???
